Global Head of ForexClear
Paddy Boyle is the Global Head of ForexClear* at LCH. Prior to joining LCH in 2016, he spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a partner and Global Head of FX Options. He was also a member of the Bank of England's FX Joint Standing Committee from 2013 to early 2014.
Paddy received his BA and Master's in Mathematics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge (1997).

Ruth was appointed Chief Executive of the LBMA in January 2014. She is responsible for the success and strategic development of the LBMA, in partnership with the Chairman and the Board. She is also responsible for maintaining accountability to and the quality of, the Association's Membership and Good Delivery Refiners as well as representing the interests of the Association in relation to regulators, investors, media and international precious metals markets.
Before being appointed Chief Executive, she spent seven years working in the Association, initially as Commercial Director and then as Deputy Chief Executive, where she acted as the main lead on Governmental Affairs. She was also responsible for the Association's work on supply chain due diligence, with particular regard to the creation and implementation of the LBMA’s Responsible Gold Guidance. She has represented the Association at industry, governmental and multi-stakeholder regulatory forums. She continues to serve as Vice Chair of the OECD Multi-Stakeholder Governance Group for Responsible Minerals. As Commercial Director, she oversaw the development of the LBMA Conference, the LBMA's quarterly publication the Alchemist and the LBMA website.
Prior to joining the LBMA, she worked in bank finance and US corporate law at the law firms of White & Case and Norton Rose, and also acted as a monitor at the UN Commission on Human Rights in Geneva. She has an MSc in History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and a degree in English Literature from Kenyon College in Ohio.
Head of FICC Execution Strategies
Ralf Donner is Head of FICC Execution Strategies at Goldman Sachs. He is responsible for the firm’s client FICC algorithmic execution offering, pre- and intra-trade liquidity and transaction cost analytics, and post-trade reporting.
Ralf started his professional career at ABN Amro in 2006 as an FX options quant, followed by 8 years with Morgan Stanley in London and New York, first in model validation of options pricing models and then in quant sales, focusing on systematic FX trading strategies and FX market microstructure. From 2014-2016 he ran Morgan Stanley’s QSI team in New York.
Ralf holds a Masters in Physics and a Doctorate in Theoretical Physics from Oxford University.
James Wood Collins
Chief Executive Officer
James Wood Collins joined Record Currency Management in August 2008 as a senior member of the Client Team and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2010. James also currently chairs Record's Executive Committee and is a member of its Investment Committee.
He was previously at JP Morgan Cazenove, where he was a Managing Director advising financial institutions on M&A, IPOs and related corporate finance transactions, including the December 2007 IPO of Record plc.
Co-Head Emerging Markets Strategy
Ibukun is responsible for London Stock Exchange Group’s growth and collaboration strategy in emerging markets with a key focus on India and Africa. He has driven key initiatives such as LSEG’s “Companies to Inspire Africa” publication and also launched the Exchange’s first International Advisory Group for Africa bringing together key business leaders, investors and African regulators to solve the challenges facing African capital markets.
Prior to this Ibukun was Head of LSEG’s equity listings business covering key markets in South Asia, Middle East and Africa. Managing relationships with companies, international advisors and regulators; in this capacity Ibukun was involved in over 200 initial public offerings in London by issuers from these regions.
Educated in Bath, United Kingdom Ibukun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and started his career as a foreign exchange trader for NatWest Markets in London in 1995. He went on to set up and run a successful business specialising in managing foreign exchange risk for African and Asian companies and managed a Forex fund investing in the dollar major currency pairs.
Immediately prior to joining the London Stock Exchange Ibukun worked in the financial communications division of United Business Media there he ran an operation dedicated to blue chip clients from across the globe in the capacity of financial communications adviser and was one time adviser to the Lakhsmi Mittal family and their companies.
Head of Hedge Fund Distribution
Katie Lee is Head of Hedge Fund Distribution at UBS Wealth Management UK based in London. She leads the hedge fund advisory effort in UBS UK and Jersey, and is responsible for advising high net worth individuals on investing in hedge funds and managing portfolios across a broad range of hedge fund strategies.
Katie has over 11 years of investment experience at UBS. Prior to moving to London in 2016, she spent 3 years in Zurich, Switzerland covering clients in the EMEA region and 5 years in Hong Kong covering Greater China clients.
Katie holds a bachelor degree in Business - Finance & Marketing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. She is also a committee member of the 100 Women in Finance organization.
Shamik Dhar is Chief Economist at BNY Mellon Investment Management, as of September this year. Prior to this, he was the Chief Economist and Director from Economics at the UK government's Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
He has more than 30 years of experience as a professional economist, alternating between private and public sectors. He began his career at the HM Treasury, the UK government's Economic and Finance Ministry, in the late 1980s, moving on in the 1990s to Oxford Economic Forecasting and the Bank of England (where he ran the UK forecast team and was a senior manager in Monetary Analysis).
In 2000, he moved to Morley Fund Management, then in 2004 co-founded Fathom Consulting, a leading economics consultancy, before moving back into asset management with Aviva Investors in 2009.
Shamik has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, and a Master's in Economics from Queen Mary College, University of London.
David joined AXA Investment Managers in July 2014. He is working as a US and UK economist. Before joining AXA IM, he worked for 4 years at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking as a Senior Economist covering primarily the UK economy.
Prior to this, he worked for 10 years at Investec Bank as a global economist covering the primarily UK and European economies. Before this, David spent 5 years in the Government Economic Service, initially working for the energy regulator, OFFER, before joining the UK Debt Management Office – an executive agency of HM Treasury – at its inception in 1998.
David holds an MSc in Economics (1995) from the University of Warwick, UK and a BA in Economics (1994) from the University of York.
Saeed Amen is the founder of Cuemacro. Over the past fifteen years, Saeed Amen has developed systematic trading strategies at major investment banks including Lehman Brothers and Nomura.
He is also the author of Trading Thalesians: What the ancient world can teach us about trading today (Palgrave Macmillan) and is the coauthor of The Book of Alternative Data (Wiley), due in 2020.
Through Cuemacro, he now consults and publishes research for clients in the area of systematic trading. He has developed many Python libraries including finmarketpy and tcapy for transaction cost analysis. His clients have included major quant funds and data companies such as Bloomberg. He has presented his work at many conferences and institutions which include the ECB, IMF, Bank of England and Federal Reserve Board. He is also a co-founder of the Thalesians.
Financial Risk Manager
Laura joined British American Tobacco in 2015. She works as a Financial Risk Manager in Corporate Treasury in London, covering areas such as fx risk and interest rate risk.
Before joining BAT, she worked for 4 years for Raiffeisen’s Romanian building society bank (Sparkasse) as Head of Risk Management and Organisation. Prior to this, she worked for 7 years in GE Capital in the Romanian mortgage business in credit risk area.
Laura is a CFA charter holder since 2018.

Claire Dissaux is Head of Global Economics & Strategy at Millenium Global and is responsible for the production of all macroeconomic and currency research, for both Developed and Emerging Markets. She is also focused on client related requests and product development initiatives driven by the firm’s philosophy of a fundamental economic orientation to client currency solutions.
Claire’s highly analytical approach has been developed during her tenure as an economist at the Ministry of Finance in France and then at Société Générale and Credit Agricole Indosuez gaining experience and expertise in Country Risk Analysis and Emerging Market Research and Strategy.
Claire Dissaux graduated from ENSAE, the French National School for Statistics and Economics, in Paris. She also holds a degree of advanced studies (DEA) in Macroeconomics, Modelling and Forecasting from the University of Paris (Pantheon-Sorbonne).

Julian Gladwin is Co-founder and Managing Director of Axiom Global Advisors. . He is also an Associate Partner at Elixirr, the challenger consultancy, bringing his broad knowledge of financial market solutions and risk mitigation to the firm.
Prior to co-founding Axiom and his time at Elixirr, Julian was a Director of Relationship Management at CLS Group, the FX settlement financial market utility.
Julian has worked in Financial Markets for over 30 years and his career in leading client relationships spans FX, Risk, Transaction Banking and Securities Services. He has held multiple international roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Northern Trust, Lehman Brothers and Paine Webber.
Global Head of Market Structure and Innovation for Financial Markets
Stéphane Malrait is Managing Director, Global Head of Market Structure and Innovation for Financial Markets, at ING Bank. Stephane is responsible for following the market structure and industry challenges impacting the financial market industry. He is leading innovation activities internal to ING and also external partnerships and developments with Fintech companies. He actively contributes to industry working groups to represent ING Bank.
Stéphane joined ING in 2015 to lead the bank e-commerce initiatives across all financial market products and to develop on the financial market group’s cross-asset eCommerce strategy. Before joining ING, Stephane spent eight years at Société Générale, where he was Global Head of FIC eCommerce, creating an eCommerce business covering credit, rates, money market, emerging market, and FX. Prior to this, Stéphane worked at JPMorgan Chase for ten years, serving in different roles in Global FX E-Commerce Business Management and cross-asset eCommerce technology and was based in London and New York.
Stephane has a strong background in financial markets and understands the need for continued technological development to drive positive change in trading and market structure workflows. He is leading ING's Financial Market Innovation strategy and also working on the implementation of financial regulations that will impact the client trading activities and transform how the trading floor operates.
Stephane is also a board member for several Fintech market initiatives and trading associations. Since 2005 he has been active with the ACI Financial Market Association - an international non-profit organisation that represents the interests of market professionals in foreign exchange and money markets. Here, he has chaired the ACI FX Committee, representing the views of professionals in the FX sector. He is also an active member of the ECB FX contact group working on the BIS Global FX code of conduct working groups.
Head of Global FX
Andreas König is Head of Global FX at Amundi Asset Management. He joined Amundi Asset Management (previously Pioneer Investments) in 2007 as Senior Portfolio Manager Foreign Exchange and is based in the London office.
Prior to this, Andreas was Head of Foreign Exchange at Amundi's office in Munich, where he was responsible for everything relating to FX, including the dedicated currency fund, currency risk management, currency overlay, currency derivatives and currency forecasts.
Andreas has worked in the investments industry since 1994. Before joining the company in August 2000, he was employed by Commerzbank London as Deputy Head of Global Foreign Exchange Options. Prior to that, he worked in the Frankfurt branch of Commerzbank as Head of currency options (1996-1998). He started his career in 1994 as a Currency Options Trader for Commerz Financial Products GmbH in Frankfurt.
Andreas is a graduate in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences, Landshut. He has been a CFA® charter holder since 2003.
Head of UK Investment Office
Geoffrey Yu is an Executive Director and Head of UK Investment Office at UBS Wealth Management. He manages a London-based team which specialises in UK-themed research content and asset allocation recommendations to the UBS Wealth Management Global Chief Investment Officer.
In addition, he serves as an investment strategist for UHNW clients, providing cross-asset UHNW investment and trading ideas, incorporating the House View and UHNW TAA. Before joining UBS Wealth Management in January 2016, Geoffrey served as the senior G10 FX Strategist for UBS Investment Bank for a decade in London, Zurich and Singapore.
Born in Beijing, Geoffrey spent the bulk of his childhood in the UK before returning to China for secondary education. He holds a double BA in Mathematics and Economics from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and an MSc in Finance from the LSE.
Philip Maton took up the role of Treasury Director at Liberty Global in January 2017. He is responsible for the firm's strategic approach to risk management across all financial risks. He also leads on the management of its pension liabilities.
He previously worked within Corporate Structuring at the Royal Bank of Scotland, thereafter as a VP within the Risk Solutions Group at Santander Global Corporate Banking. He is a CFA charterholder.
Charles Goodman is Managing Director at Millennium Global. Before joining Millennium Global in 2017, Charles worked for Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM) for over twenty years, most recently as CEO of the London office.
Before moving to London in 2012, he held various roles in fund management, derivatives advisory and business development in the Geneva office, latterly as Head of Institutional Sales. He was also a board member for a Luxembourg umbrella fund with specific responsibility for risk management and compliance oversight. Prior to his roles at EdRAM, Charles was a futures execution trader and portfolio manager at a Swiss futures and options specialist in Geneva and Chicago.
Charles Goodman has been a regular contributor of articles to institutional investment publications and speaker at industry events. He is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.
Director, Business Consulting
David Woolcock is Director, Business Consulting at Eurobase and Chair of the Committee for Professionalism at ACI - The Financial Markets Association as well as Vice-Chairing the ACI FX Committee. He is an experienced FX trader having worked in a variety of trading roles for the past 40 years.
David is also currently on the Market Practitioners Group for the FXWG at the Bank for International Settlements to establish a single set of global principles of good practice for foreign exchange markets - the Global Code of Conduct for FX.
Having worked for a number of banks between 1977 and 2003, specialising in e-FX from 1998, David co-founded Derivative Consulting Ltd. specialising in eFX, Prime Brokerage, and FX CCP Clearing. This included advising LCH on central counterparty clearing for the FX market. Following a stint at FXall David left when the sale to Thomson Reuters completed to join Eurobase Banking Solutions and splits his time between Eurobase and his private consultancy business.

Liam Spillane is Aviva Investor's Head of Emerging Markets Debt, overseeing a global team of EMD portfolio managers and holding ultimate responsibility for the commercial growth of the EMD business and delivering strong investment performance across our wide range of products. He is also portfolio manager for the emerging markets local currency bond portfolios.
Liam joined Aviva Investors in 2013 as a senior portfolio manager before assuming his current role. He has previously worked for Overlay Asset Management, ABN Amro Asset Management and Fortis Investments as a senior currency manager for a broad range of absolute return, hedge fund and currency overlay mandates.
Liam has gained considerable expertise in foreign exchange since joining the investment industry in 1993, beginning his career with an equity market focus at James Capel Investment Management.
